Anxiety
Everyone worries. But if you find that your worries are impacting your ability to complete your daily tasks and generally live your life, you may be suffering from an anxiety disorder. Some common symptoms include:
- Difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep
- Difficulty concentrating and focusing
- Physical symptoms, such as a racing heart, sweaty palms, shortness of breath, or feeling shaky or trembling
- Physical ailments (aches, sores, etc.) that aren't explained by a medical condition
- Excessive worry of impending doom - out of proportion for what might be expected in a given situation
- Desire to avoid certain situations, people, or places you used to enjoy due to your worries.
- Panic attacks
The good news is: Anxiety is absolutely treatable!
